Who doesn’t love a warm, comforting breakfast? This breakfast bowl is easy to make, and easily customized with the addition of your favorite spices and toppings.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup oats
1 cup almond milk
1 tablespoon Chia seeds
1 tablespoon shredded coconut
1 tablespoon sliced almonds
Optional:
Honey or maple syrup
Fresh berries
Directions:
Combine oats and almond milk, and cook over medium heat for approximately 10 minutes (less if using instant oats). Add Chia seeds, shredded coconut, sliced almonds, and stir. Transfer to a bowl and top with your favorite berries and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup. Let cool before serving.
Makes 1 serving.
