Zesty Turmeric and Honey Shot Recipe

It’s hard not to love turmeric thanks to its help in supporting joint and antioxidant health.* Drink this spicy shot in the morning, with lunch, or as a midday snack.


1 1/2 cups water (warm or cold)

1 tablespoon ground turmeric

3 tablespoons raw honey

Juice from one lemon (cut in half and squeeze out the juice from each side)

3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

Dash of cayenne pepper optional)


In a small bowl, mix honey, lemon juice, and apple cider vinegar to the water (warm or cold water works-use your preference!) and whisk until smooth. Add turmeric and a dash of cayenne pepper for extra spice (optional), and stir until dissolved.

Using a funnel, pour into a shot glass or and serve. Store the remainder in refrigerator, and shake before drinking again. Makes 5-6 servings.
