Tart Cherry Tonic Recipe

16-pp-1595-social-blogbanners_cherry Like raspberries, strawberries, kidney beans, and beets, cherries contain anthocyanins, antioxidants that are responsible for fighting cell-damaging free radicals and give these fruits and vegetables their rich red color.

In this recipe, we paired up herb turmeric (which supports antioxidant health*), with tart cherry juice to create a nutritious drink that can be enjoyed any hour of the day.


¼ cup pineapple juice
½ cup tart cherry juice
¼ cup warm or cold water (your preference)
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon manuka honey


Mix all ingredients in a jar and stir until turmeric and honey are dissolved.

Makes 1-2 servings.
