Dinner doesn’t get much easier than this Slow Cooker Spicy Turkey and Lentil Chili Recipe! By simply combining everything into the slow cooker, this meal practically cooks itself!

1 pound lean ground turkey
1 packet organic spicy chili seasoning mix
1 can 15 oz tomato sauce
1 cup dry lentils
2 cups vegetable broth
2 cups diced tomatoes
Black pepper to taste
Sour cream (optional)
Shredded cheese (optional)

Add all ingredients to slow cooker and mix thoroughly. Turn slow cooker dial to “low” and cook for 8 hours. Serve alone or with bread for dipping. Add sour cream or shredded cheese on top if desired.

Tip: For more intense flavor, combine ingredients and refrigerate overnight to let the turkey and lentils soak up the spices in the seasoning mix.

Makes 6-8 servings.
